Are you mad at Mike Malloy for blasting Democrats?
If any of you have been listening to his show lately, Mike Malloy is angry with the way the Democrats in the Capitol are handling the Ohio electoral counts and the hearings with AG nominee Alberto Gonzales. I have to say Malloy is right on with his view on what has been happening with the Democrats. I agree with him. He is right to blast the Democrats on their meekness and complacency. This is why I am slowly moving away from the Democratic Party. I only hope there can be new leadership`in that party and a shift in their tactics.

Of course there are some of you that are mad at Malloy for making the stand he is making. I would like to know why you are mad at him and why should he stay in the Democratic Party or why anybody should continue their support?

John

1. Not this Democrat.

I want to see leadership from my party, not complacentcy.

There are just so many damn things to hit them (repubs) with! And I hear almost none of it.

But I am not leaving my party. I am going to continue to be involved and let my elected leaders know that if they are not going to protect this country from the likes of the neocons, no one will.

Let's put it down as constructive critism, at least on my part.

2. Malloy is just telling it as it is.
The fact that we are allowing Mr. Torture, Ms. "Historical document", and before those, Keric was blessed (before exposure) is SHOCKING.

There is no real opposition. Its all for show with no real substance or conviction. The Dem party is just about toast.

3. Mike can just keep hammering away, as far as I'm concerned.
He's absolutely right about this. We do not have an opposition party now. We've become the party of acquiescence, and if we are willing go acquiesce on issues of this importance, I don't expect it to get better for years to come.

6. No, Mike should run for President....seriously...
I know he'd have to knock-off a few rough-edged words on tv...but for th most part....Mike Malloy is JUST what this party needs to stand up to the Republicans.

The only problem is that he would have NO ONE in Washington to watch his back. All of those punks and punkettes (except Boxer and the CBC) would be too busy taking care of their own personal gains to be concerned with helping their constituents.

8. CBC?
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation? I'm a little confused... CBC must be the TLA du jour.

We should have a draft Malloy for President campaign. He'd be the perfect candidate because there's no way he'd want the job.

9. CBC = Congressional Black Caucus
Those black people who requested voting irregularities investigations both in 2000 and 2004 to no avail except for Barbara Boxer. Conyers, Tubbs-Jones, Waters et al...

14. ROFL!
I know who the Congressional Black Caucus is. :-) I just didn't think to associate it with the acronym CBC.

haven't been able to decifer yet either. I saw someone else use CBC, so it wasn't original to me.

I'm usually fairly good at figuring the acronyms out, but "eom" has baffled me for a while....

Oh, and give me TLA, also....:)

10. Nope, not one tiny bit. They deserve a gold-plated bollocking..
..and that is exactly what Mike is giving them.

I am just as frustrated as he is about the lack of spinal fortitude that these worms are displaying, and the total lack of representation we get from these people.

Keep up the good job Mike!

13. Nope. . .
. . . someone needs to blast Democrats. Rather blast them and remind them of why they exist than allow them to move the party further into whoredom where it melts away into oblivion.

15. Nope. Malloy speaks the truth, as always.
Malloy is the honest little kid in the crowd who yells "but the emperor has no clothes on!" while everyone is too afraid to comment and pretends he is wearing velvet robes. In this case, the emperor is buck nekkid, Malloy knows it, we know it, it's time to say it.

17. Hell, no! They need a good blasting...
They need to wake up and move back to their roots.

And I'm the one who says never leave the party, change it from within. That's exactly what Malloys trying to do.

19. No, if we don't hold the party
acountable they will continue to move ever rightward. The reason the Dems don't really listen to those who do the work during elections is because they assume we have nowhere to go. They are wrong. Greens, although small, are working with disenfranchised people across the US. In some states they are a very real alternative.

No, the Dems are not entitled to my vote. Like any employee (and politicians are OUR employees) they must EARN my vote not only by words but MORE IMPORTANTLY by their actions.

Stand up to Bush and the Republicans.

51% is NO mandate.

20. What does he think of Dean?
I rarely listen, so I can't comment. However, if he is saying what is true, about Dems being spineless for the most part who can be mad?
