Is the Armstrong Williams story dead already? Didn't seem like it lasted
that long. I bet they will talking about Dan Rather all month.

1. In Rethug world, bad news doesn't travel, it gets buried.
Now they have to conveniently revive the Rather story so nobody will "notice" about Armstrong Williams. However, according to the Nation's David Corn, others have also received bribes by Bushco. Maybe some day we'll find out who. Probably around the same time Novak is dragged into jail for outting Valerie Plame.

2. The timing is rather convenient
Armstrong "the media whore" Williams was getting raked over the coals, catching the administration off guard. Just when that story was taking off, the CBS/Dan Rather story hits the front pages with a boom.

That's TOO well timed, IMO. :tinfoilhat:

5. Armstrong threatened to name others in payolagate
Once Armstrong said "there are others" and the CBS story on Rathergate, the story vanished.
