Being a mother, I always believed my son was special. I told him since he was a tiny boy that he was destined for something that was going to affect the world. Neither he nor I knew that it would be through Democraticunderground. My memories include him running into my room telling me what Dubya had done to top a previous stupid act. His childlike amazement tickled me. I would have to remind him that the thinking people of this world was only about 10% of the population and 1% ruled the world. That was the reason he got selected in the first place and elected (although we still believe it was stolen). He was so angry that Kerry did not put up a stink afterwards. Dean wouldn't have gone quietly into the night. I will miss all the interruptions of my television time or quiet time. What I would give to have him rush into my room for LBN or hear him scream at the news. My gentle giant, my baby, I have to believe is still here with me...forever.

7. Hi Ma'am. Just saw this. I have your address and the rugs

ship in the AM. I'm in Germany and did not get the PM's with the address until after the post had already closed here.

They're minature prayer rugs that my husband got in Egypt back in 2002. I thought they could be placed under the urn. A touch of Egypt for Kheph.

One of the rugs depict the hawk, a symbol for Horus (much like the eye), as well as 2 other symbols. I thought it fitting as the 3 symbols combined speak of the journey of life. Kheph's journey brought him to us here at DU. We were all very lucky to have shared in his journey.
