Tim Roemer
what is the deal with this guy?

the more I find out about him, the more scared I become

he's anti-choice but the kicker is that he is currently a "Distinguished Scholar" at The Mercatus Center at George Mason University

The Center is heavily funded by a few groups funded by your friend and mine, Richard Mellon Scaife

other heavy hitters at the center include JC Watts and Wendy Graham a host of other neo-cons

it just seems like this guy is the proverbial sheep in wolf's clothing--I'd much rather suppport Terry McAuliffe for another term than have this guy sneak under the flap

2. Save us from Roemer.
I can hardly believe he is so favored for this position from some in the Dem Leadership. Cowards.

3. Is there a list somewhere
of the governing body members of the DNC that we could use to appeal to those who will vote in the DNC chair?

The fact that Reid and Pelosi back this guy is making me queasy.

:puke:

4. He's far to the right of the DLC,
which, as we know, is the Repuglican wing of the party. If this guy gets in, 50% of the party will desert overnight.

The only reason women are voting Dem now is because they're committed to protect reproductive rights. If they drop that, we leave.

The DLC still controls the party, though, so I expect it to happen

5. Is he planning on running for president at some point?
thats what i think, he's trying to get his name recognition up. Whatever he's doing he wouldn't get my vote.

6. He's The DC Candidate - Which Explains A Lot
"DC" stands for "Democratic Congress," and considering the nutless performance they've had so far with regards both to Abu Gonzalez and the Ohio challenge, this guy is the perfect leader to continuing the impression that Democrats have no spine or nuts.

On top of which, based on his appearance with Steffie last week, he has all the charisma of a wet dishrag.

He's absolutely the WRONG answer. Wrong, wrong, WRONG!!!!!!
