1. And there is a dictionary.com extension for firefox. You just highlight

the text, scroll down and presto -- look up anyword in an instant.

2. When I tried to DL the toolbar

I got a message: To protect your computer, Firefox prevented this site (www.firefoxtoolbar.com) from installing software on your computer.

Makes me wonder if it's cool with Mozilla.org.

5. I downloaded mine at http://dictionarysearch.mozdev.org/ . Maybe

you should try it. I have gotten that DL message once. Forgot why. Maybe the version of FF that you have is a a factor. I think I ended up tweaking some option/pref. FYI, I have expanded my firefox toolbar size to fit forty links and have abbreviated my links so I can fit forty of them on the bar. I have downloaded extensions bugmenot,addbookmarkhere, chromeedit and dictionary. I tried a few others but erased them. Good luck.

3. O.T. Psst . . . the Opera browser does that without an extension

4. I subscribe to "A Word a Day." "Zabernism" was one to memorize

because it was so applicable to this Administration.
