When Mel Gibson won it was the voice of the people sending the blue states a message. THAT award was won fair & square & so on & so on.

Dear Broadcasters,

Generally, I do not watch television. However, I started to watch this season of 24 and enjoyed it up to the point where the character James Heller makes the comment to his son Richard about acting "like a grade-school Michael Moore" because Richard intends to protest actions by the government in which he does not believe. The character's comment reflects the conservative views of Fox that regularly belittle the actions of citizens that do not support the current U.S. Government, including Michael Moore.

Moore researches his opinions and the material he presents in his movies and television work. He consistently exposes the experiences of those on the other side of lobbyist, corporate, and political interests as evidenced by the job losses depicted in Roger and Me, injuries sustained by gun violence in Bowling for Columbine, and the human lives lost and changed negatively by the unreasonable war in Iraq in Fahrenheit 9/11. Moore, despite his opinion, does his homework.

I wish I could say the same for Fox. The last time I watched one of your news broadcasts was before the start of war in 2003 where you superimposed the face of Osama Bin Laden on a map of Iraq, trying to help this administration make the connection with the American people that somehow, Iraq was responsible for the terrorist attacks in 2001. At this point, there was no terrorist connection found between the two entities. This action shows that you don't research your broadcast material and the human cost of your omission is unimaginable.

Please do not berate Michael Moore or those who wish to protest the actions of our government in your programming. Indeed, these are the only people who are making the voices of the rest of America heard, since the corporate media not only won't help them get their message across, but, as shown by Fox, will cut them down for doing it.

Further personal attacks against specific Americans are unwarranted and unsuitable for television media. Please do not do this again.

31. I didn't get too worked up over that scene on 24

I took it like something that the character might say than anything else. It's a drama after all with different types of characters. They made the son a left wing stereotype and the interrogator the right wing stereotype.

Kind of lazy, but nothing to get all worked up about, in my humble opinion.

Michael Moore is being given too much credit. He produced the highest grossing documetary of all time, that cannot be disputed. He put our mesage up there for all to see, but it was mostly preaching to the choir. Of the few conservatives that did go to see it, the went with blinders on. We saw it, saw some affirmation of our beliefs but I sincerely doubt that Moore's piece caused millions to come over to our side. The millions of dollars that that movie made came from us. People who basically lean that anyway.

Rush is the same way. He galvanizes people who share his beliefs and turns off those that don't.

I wish "F-9/11" had opened some eyes and caused many a light bulb (dim as it may be) to come on above a freeper's head. Sadly, I think it just caused the wingnuts to just further entrench themselves in their own beliefs.

He is our spokesman, a great motivator for us, but he is as divisive to the right and left as Hillary is. If we win any rightwingers over to our side, it won't be because of Michael Moore.

When I tried to go back in to change a vote on another category, it knew I had already voted. Yes, there was a campaign to get people to vote, but the system wouldn't let you vote multiple times (on the same computer, I assume).
