Subject: hey

hey I got your name off the fairness web site and wonder just what the hell you people think you are doing. I am a democrat and I know Kerry was a communist in his war protesting years. Well so is Denny boy Kuchinich so Kerry has company. I cant believe you guys want some ass hole in the presidency that thinks like he does and worse are causing all this trouble to get the election recounted a thousand times. I dont want people like Jesse Jackson or Kerry or the lovely Theresa or Denny boy in power in my country. you guys are nuts. I want my party back and its left wing nuts like you that are making it difficult. what are you doing? getting ready for the anti christ and the one world government?

Yeah, you're a 'Democrat' . . . my A*S . The first sign of your Republican illness is the telltale eighteen grammatical errors per paragraph - not to mention, the typical Red State 'See Spot run' type of spelling errors within your incoherent rant.

Cheers,

2. I always look for the
"I am a democrat" within the first three sentences. If it's there I hit delete. :-)

8. Thank you, Robert and wicket. BTW...
Here is my 'general reply' to bona fide Freepers:

"Well, at this point, I am simply waiting to participate in either the second Civil War or the second American Revolution. Either one will do."

9. not to mention the use of the word "communist"
Edited on Tue Jan-11-05 05:38 PM by unpossibles
stinks of Reagan-era Repuke throwback to McCarthyism. It amazes me to find there are still people worried about the Communist threat like it was real. And all of those concerned have been wingers.

13. it's sad and also dangerous
When the right attempts to portray Kerry (or any other play-it-safe, moderate Democrat) as a 'leftist nut', what they're attempting to do is move our entire political center to the right.

If Kerry is left-wing, then of course the Democrats need to abandon the left and move to the 'center', which in this climate, is something just short of Mussolini. That's why you hear these ridiculous claims about Kerry being a liberal/communist/leftist - they're trying now to destroy the true center. Unfortunately, the media is giving them an ample mouthpiece to continue to make their ridiculous claims. Some of these debates about the DNC chair make me wonder if we aren't beginning to fall for it as well.

14. Freeper?
I know I'm a newbie here, could someone please define the term "Freeper" for me? I'm getting the general gist, but would like the official definition.
In yesterday's Fresno Bee, there were two letters to the editor supporting the courage of Barbara Boxer in protesting the Ohio electors, and one saying she needed to be thrown out of office for causing so much trouble. Everyone thinks Calif. is solid blue, but the San Joaquin Valley is SO red. I've actually had people come up to me at the gas pump though, after seeing my Kerry bumpersticker, to let me know they were a few other bygod Democrats around.

15. Hi there, doodadem.
A 'Freeper' is one who is a member of/poster on a Reichwing website called freerepublic.com. The definition has been broadened by Leftists to include anyone who is supportive of Rightwing ideology. The term is typically used in a derogatory fashion, although Freepers use the term to define themselves.

Hope that helped...
