Anybody see Frontline/World? |

One piece about journalists in Iraq. Powerful! It made it clear why not much real journalism is coming out of there. Journalists can't move outside the Green Zone.... the Freedom Fighters/Insurgents can hit anyone, anywhere. Dexter Filkins talked about his Fallujah report.
Great piece about Darfur, too.
See if you can catch it on repeat.

I thought the most telling part was the ride from the hotel to the airport in Baghdad. A one mile ride and and the US military can't secure the road. That's not a good indication of a succesful occupation when you can't secure the road to the airport in the capital.
Of course, what do I know?

I missed the beginning but saw a big chunk of the report on journalists in Iraq and the segments on Darfur and China. Wow. Definitely worth catching the re-run if you missed it!
