Is anybody worried about Barbara Boxer's safety? |

I had this thought yesterday. The very thought I had right after Paul Wellstone's plane "accident". Barbara Boxer made the right decision in standing up to Bush in the issue of the Ohio counts and should be commended highly for it but I am deeply concerned for her well-being. Going up against Bush as a Senator. That took some real guts but I really wonder why the other Democratic Senators did not make the same stand she did? Do they know something we don't?
I really hope the esteemed Senator from California does not take any chartered planes anytime soon. :scared: I don't want to be a tin foil hat person but why does it seem like anybody who takes a stand against the Bush Crime Family seems to die from accidents or run into some kind of trouble? Ask yourself that question.

the spotlight is on her, and they wouldn't be so blatant. The time to worry is six months from now, when memory of the election challenge has faded.

Yes, I would say she could definately be a target.
I have been worried about a lot of folks,,,, I stressed before the election about John Kerry's safety,,,, been worried a long time about Michael Moore,,,,, the list is long!!
I just want the truth to come out and all of this stuff to be over!!!!

5. She's not in danger now as she doesn't represent a big enough |

threat to warrant assassination.

There are enough things going on to focus my attention on, without adding more. I don't subscribe to fear. I won't spend my time finding more things to worry about or be fearful over.
Instead, I choose to stay focused on the issue/s that are in most need of my attention, and direct my energies toward, not worrying about them, but action. If I cannot act on them, I'm not going to spend time and energy wringing my hands over them. I just don't have that luxury. If I can focus my energy on one issue, and do my part to work for change on that one thing, I feel like it's a better use of my time.

Look what they did to Governor Davis. Their MO seems to be character assassination first, then using the law to take an elected office from the offending politician and finally convenient suicide. I think Barbara is aware of these things and will take the necessary steps and precautions needed.
BTW Welcome to DU!
