Potential Scandals surround Michael Chertoff

Let's use this to our advantage.

"Recently, Chertoff has been confirmed by the Senate, 88 to 1, for a seat on the Third Circuit Court of Appeals (a level directly below the Supreme Court). The one opposing vote was from Senator Hillary Clinton, Democrat of New York, because Chertoff was the lead lawyer in a Senate investigation of the Whitewater affair."

So, Chertoff prevented Clinton from fighting terrorism. It makes me wonder if he can prevent another terrorist attack.

Steve Brill, based on his sources, reports that in the strategy sessions at the Justice Department, Chertoff, agreeing that the detainees should be held for long periods of questioning, said that even if some got a hearing, "the hearings could not only be done in secret, but also could be delayed, and that even after the hearings were held and they were ordered deported , there was nothing in the law that said they absolutely had to be deported immediately."

While these guys are out deporting people for minor violations, the real terrorists are plotting their next move.

Chertoff is unfit to be the head of Homeland Security.

as "committed to the ideals of justice for the American people" (paraphrasing) and I thought, unless those Americans are named Clinton.
