7. I'll explain
I was channel surfing furiously, trying to find a Democrat responding. All I got was Sen. Biden of Delaware, saying Bush should be supported and as for WMD, "we're almost beyond that." He dismissed the issue!
Where are the 9 Dem candidates??

8. I wonder if that is the DNC position????
If it is, we may be heading for another 1984-style election disaster. No surpise here.

10. He's right and wrong at the same time
Okay, we are beyond the issue in the sense that everybody accepts that were no WMDs and haven't been any for several years.

However, this does more to vindicate Scott Ritter than the Frat Boy.

We can also say that we are beyond the issue in the sense that we have other problems with which we must deal. Where there was no terrorist threat from Iraq before the invasion, there is now. The plain fact is that al Qaida will attempt to take advantage of the situation. Bush's invasion has percepitated an opportunity for Osama that was not there before.

However, Senator Biden also said that the President (sic -- that's what he called him) deserves our support. No, he doesn't. Mr. Bush created this problem by going to war under false pretenses. He was lying and he knew he was lying. He lied about Saddam's military capabilities, the nature of his arsenal and his association with al Qaida. He did this in order to create busiess opportunities for his cronies. In acting in this manner, he turned a difficult situation into a dangerous one.

It is because of Mr. Bush's invasion of Iraq that al Qaida has gained strength. It was a colossal blunder made for selfish reasons. Mr. Bush is still unable to level with the American people about that. (Did I hear the Senator also say that Bush leveled with the American people this evening? I disagree.)

Bush lied about his reasons for going to war and, in the end, made the situation worse.

Mr. Bush deserves no support; he should be removed from office as soon as possible.

12. Uh, isn't that the reason we invaded Iraq?
That's all I every heard BEFORE we invaded. You know...the "big sell."

17. Biden understands how whores work
He knows that the media's idea of balance is to have a right wing rethug "balanced" by a pro-bush-policy Dem. Biden knows that this practice is his ticket to fill his Sundays as a guest on numerous television shows. He's all to happy to oblige. What a waste. He used to be one of my favorite Dems.
