Bush Speech Tally - TERRORISM and more TERRORISM
Okay... I was really off. I predicted that Dubya would in invoke the word "terror" in some form about a dozen times in his 16 minute speech.
Here we go:

TERROR was mentioned 27 times!
Al Qaeda was uttered 3 times!
9/11 was invoked 3 times
WMD's were mentioned 2 times
US Security was said 2 times

What a super con job. This will once again draw a connection between this illegal war and the attack on this nation by Al Qaeda.

The BIG LIE works. It does. There had better be some reaction from the Dems or Bush gets on by preying on the fears of the ill informed American public.

1. I was hoping I wasn't the only one
who noticed this. I could barely force myself to listen to him working the uninformed US public by equating Iraq with the war on terror. He is an evil man.

3. 27 times...............unbelievable.
I've never heard a speech with so many word repeats. Terror, Freedom, Terror, Freedom, Terror, Freedom, or freedom-hating terrorists. Does Bush think the American people are fools, with infantile memory spans? I think i'm gonna puke!

5. A majority have shown him that -yes
the 'murikan people are fools, with infantile memory spans. Go to any Yahoo thread, or Freeperville, or Slates "The Fray" if you don't believe me.

6. Did he invoke the name of Saddam Hussein?
I watched him for about two minutes and had to turn him off (once I start swearing at the TV I'm done for...)

9. bush wants us to stay terrified
That's my sad conclusion. A terrified American public is exactly what he needs to be reelected.

10. IMPORTANT! URGENT!
If you know someone who was planning on playing the 'Terror' drinking game while watching Bush's speech, you should probably check on their well-being at this time.

They've probably passed out and may have hurt themselves...

12. Did he say WMD?
I thought that he morphed them into "weapons of terror" or "terror weapons." Personally, between screaming at the tv, I was ROTFLMAO every time he said "terror." And yes, I almost hurt myself.
