He could not fly planes over 2/3 of his country. UN inspecters were crawling around dismantling all his war shit. (goodgrief, it worked, there were NO wmds).
He was a secular dictator, not looking to die in some jihadist cause. He did not truck with the Osamas of the world. He kept Iraq intact by brutal means, MUCH more effectively than we are doing.
Would you please explain to me exactly what Saddam "was going to do" to America and exactly HOW????
