Why Are You Suprised at the Media Whoring for Bush?
Did you REALLY expect them to poo-poo his speech? Did you really think that his speech would turn the tide? The neo-con cabal is too disciplined to send the ijit out there unprepared. Moreover, the media is on their payroll to reinforce the illusion.

Beating this bunch, if it happens at all, will take a tremendous amount of "luck" from outside events over which we have absolutely no control. There are no magic words yet to find that will wake the sheeple from their torpor. It will take events, highly painful and onerous events to show them (the fucked up "American People who keep these fascists in power) that the cabal is evil to their black-hearted core.

I refuse to get my hopes up UNLESS there is consistent and unrelenting bashing of the cabal from the media and UNLESS the cabal's poll number drop to and remain in the mid fourties or below.

Remember - Dukakis was close to 20 points ahead of Bush-I after the Democratic convention in 1988. I remember it because I was exstatic. I really thought we'd win. Needless to say my hopes were dashed against the rocks of continuous despair come election night. My fear is that they'll be dashed yet again in 2004.

2. MSNBC not too bad tonight
Vietnam, Vietnam, Vietnam. Even Gergen (sp) saw the similarities. If te Neo-Cons were doing their job Vietnam would never be mentioned.

3. Not only are they paid whores
they are the only people in the world (besides politicians) who will NEVER admit when they're wrong.

4. Your concern is well-founded, in my opinion.
As a job hunter's consultant, I spend a lot of time at employment-related Web sites. It is amazing to me how many people who are out of work post messages in which they absolve Bunnypants of any responsibility for their plight, or even for the economy in general.

So, I believe the Commander is in a strong position to win next year. With all of their tricks and thievery; he'll be almost unbeatable.

5. Those people are probably dittoheads
polls do show an increasing number of people do blame Bush. However, I agree with you completely that this crew will stop at nothing to win.
