Hmm..this is awful nice of him

A company controlled by Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka Shing is selling all its C-I-B-C shares and will use the 1.2(b) billion dollars for its charitable foundations.
Li, who is 75, began his working life as a refugee sweeping factory floors in Hong Kong.
He says his Toronto-based foundation will support education, medical care, poverty relief and cultural and religious causes.

5. Here's a link to his foundation.

Having experienced the turmoil of war in his youth and entering society at an early age, Mr. Li Ka-shing understands the importance of medical care and the power of knowledge. He also believes that nothing is more meaningful than helping the needy and that the strength of a nation is dependent on the quality of its education and healthcare. Hoping to contribute to his adopted home and his motherland, Mr. Li spent more and more time and resources on charitable projects that benefit education and healthcare in Hong Kong and the mainland as his business prospered. In 1980, Mr. Li set up the Li Ka Shing Foundation as a way to distribute donation funds to charities more systematically. Since then, over HK$4.5 billion have been donated.
