4. Ed sounded very confident
about the encounter on his show this afternoon. I hope he doesn't get ambushed! He said he's going to be a nice guy, or words to that effect.

7. And he will be nice.....
I want the Dem's to be heard and seen much more that they have been. Additionally, I don't want them to surrender either and Ed is an excellent choice for walking the line like a professional. He knows their game and can be coy and strong at the same time.

8. And, we are off
with O'Rilley's show. My TV will be on mute until Ed's segment (probably at least half past the hour, I hope sooner). He started off with Ted Kennedy bashing with his recent press club speech.

like selling a book? Just curious, 'cause I'd rather have a root canal.

13. He has a book
and that could easily be part of it. It is published by Regan books, so I guess they want to bump sales.

Won't know for sure until he is on.

15. Plus Ed wants to get more exposure. This is good for him...
...and his show. Ed reachs and speaks to a lot of Republican. I think he has a real sway with them. He will be polite but won't let Bill get slimey.

I hope!

24. Rule #2 pushed alot by
O'Rilley. No kinks in the armor found by O'Rilley.

After the Clinton card played, he is now trying to bash/precieve Ed as a "Far Left Democrat".

Next came the abortion issue. Ed said he was independent then he "partial birth" card was played.

Bill seems to be frustrated as he cannot get to Ed. Then he tries to misrepresenting Jones Radio's advertising money.

Bill: "I work here, so what I say here is true".

Bill did not make eye contact at all at the end. Odd are Bill will not have Ed on much anymore due to how solid he is.

27. Fox News is run by Roger Ailes for God's sake!
Is Roger Aisles a politician?

- working as a media adviser to Richard M. Nixon Presidential Campaign in 1967-68;

- working as a consultant in 1984 to Ronald Reagan;

- working on George H. W. Bush's 1988 Presidential campaign;

- Internal Philip Morris documents, however, reveal Ailes advised the company until at least 1994.

- in 1991 persuading "a syndicator to bring Rush Limbaugh from radio to television and became executive producer of the late-night show";

- In 1993 was appointed President of NBC's cable channel CNBC;

- introduced NBC cable channel, America's Talking in 1994;

- in January 1996 was appointed as chief executive officer of Fox News and the FOX News Channel and, according to his biographical note, "also serves as a senior advisor to Rupert Murdoch, Chairman and CEO of the News Corporation Limited".

Do you think everybody on Fox News is beholden to any particular party? Hypocracy much? Bill O'Reilly = Professional Dick.

28. We can't let them use the "partial birth abortion" card
First off - there's no such thing as "partial birth abortion" it's a right-wing frame.

Second - Clinton said he would sign a late term abortion bill if the Republicans sent him one with an exception for the life and health of the mother and they never did.

Third - Bush signed the bill without that exception and the courts found it unconstitional because it didn't have the exception so - Bush is no closer to ending late term abortions than Clinton was.

If the Republicans really wanted to fewer abortions they would resubmit the bill with that exception. The truth is they only want the issue.

We also need to let people know that abortions were down under Clinton and they are now up under Bush!
