Partnership 2005 Encourages Independent Advisors to 'Harness the Power of Opportunity'

NEW YORK, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Attorney General of New York Eliot Spitzer headlines Partnership 2005, TD Waterhouse USA's 9th annual national conference for the financial planning community, which takes place in San Diego, California on Feb. 2-5. The theme of this year's event, 'Harness the Power of Opportunity,' explores the advantages of being an independent financial advisor. Last year, over 1,100 professionals from the financial planning community attended the conference, including advisors, fund management firms, research providers, industry associations, technology providers, media and financial marketers.

In addition to Mr. Spitzer, keynote speakers for Partnership 2005 include Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III, former Presidential Envoy to Iraq; Larry Kudlow, CEO of Kudlow & Co., LLC and co-host of CNBC's "Kudlow & Cramer"; and David Gergen, professor of public service at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government and director of its Center for Public Leadership. Mr. Gergen is also editor-at-large for U.S. News & World Report.
