Someone should start slamming Bush because of this quote:
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=584&e=1&u=/nm/20050114/pl_nm/bush_bluntness_dc

"I remember when I talked about Osama bin Laden, I said we're going to get him dead or alive. I guess it's not the most diplomatic of language," Bush said.

Considering what Osama did on 9/11, this sounds like Bush going soft. He wants to be diplomatic with Osama? The Right slammed Kerry for his 'nuisance' quote. Someone should go after Bush over this....

3. Exactly! This quote could really get him if it's worked right?
I can hear the talking points now....

"Some people say Bush wants to be more diplomatic with Osama"

"Mrs. Bush chastised George for his "Dead or Alive" comment...Why does she care about Osama?"

4. Bush was right in the first place to say
UBL was "wanted dead or alive"

The problem is that instead of following through, Bush diverted our resources to Iraq.

UBL is still free to attack us again, perhaps with nuclear weapons next time.

6. Absolutely, George.
Pissing off your friends/business partners in the Bin Laden family is not exactly diplomatic.

Gotta keep those "friends" happy, right, George?

7. This is designed to further divide.
Under criticism, he says what he wants people to think WE want him to say. He continues to undermine us.

CRIPES.. BIN LADEN?

Diplomacy with France, Germany etc,...but Bin Laden???

I think we can all agree Bin Laden must be killed or captured, and HE HAS FAILED TO DO THAT!

12. I was thinking of the 'sensitive' quote some brought up, but I was sure
there was another Kerry quote similar to Bush's statement that was twisted around.
But considering what Bush said in this last interview, well, there's not too much twisting you can do with that. Can you imagine the outrage if that was Kerry? It would be on 24/7...

18. Yeah, it was the one where Kerry said
he wanted to bring terrorism down to the level where it was just considered a "nuisance." They really slammed him for that one.

10. We stay in Afganistan, looking across the border of Pakistan for him.
We can't go in because Pakistan is our ally.

What happened to his other quote:
Any nation that harbors a terrorist is a terrorist state.
