so I told W to stop being a girly-man, and pray to the God he's always prattling on about.

I hung up the phone when he started praying out loud. That's never done, except amongst common people who speak in foreign tongues.

In my day, God was kept in the closet - along with with the gays. We didn't talk about Him, or them - unless we were at the hairdressers. Then we told them everything.

As for me, I've never been so humiliated in my entire life! Asked about the strong women in his life, W didn't even mention me. Me! The woman who sacrificed the best years of her life hiring the people who raised him.
