NPR mocks Obama with answering machine gag piece. |

Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 06:32 PM by AP
Anyone hear it? I didn't listen to the intro probably because it sounded pretty lightweight. But when they played that first answering machine message that was supposed to be Obama -- mocking his convention speech -- I thought for a second that it was Obama, which was probably NPR's intention.
Then they mocked Kerry. Oddly, the Kerry imitation sounded like Rush.
The piece droned on and I tuned out again.
Did anyone listen to it?
What was it about?

1. it was racist...and on the same show, they did a HIT on anyone |
|
questioning bush* military service....NPR claimed the CBS firings were TOTALLY justified...ran their HIT piece without ever mentioning that BUSH WAS AWOL, well-documented......
I'm sick of NPR...it used to be a real news channel....

2. I thought the "Kerry" voice was Rush at first, too. |

Not one of their better "comedy" bits, really. Though they did have Dick Cheney sounding stupid for balance. Also had a supposed "nickname spokesperson" for Bush running through possible nicknames for Obama, including "Jo Mama, which rhymes with Obama." :eyes:
This was NPR? :wtf:
