Get the broom
looks like we need to do a little internal house cleaning:

SHOW THEM THE MONEY!
Bunnie Riedel lays bare the story of two "upstanding Republicans" in the Indiana Statehouse who are doing a "stellar job" of attempting to squash local municipal attempts to roll out affordable broadband services. Imagine their surprise to find out that a fellow traveler on the Democratic side of the aisle is receiving four times the amount of money from an industry telcom to join their fight to ensure that "community efforts to improve themselves will die slow and painful legal deaths."

1. GOP Lite® at its finest
Looks like the lobbyist game just got the lid blown off on a topic.

This is the thing that makes politics inaccessible to most Americans.

Our politicians make promises, but lie and steal behind closed doors.

We have no alternatives to corruption, from any party.

I may be flamed here for saying this, but the problem today is not Republicans, it is the Neo-Cons. They operate on both sides of the aisle, and represent neither party. Neo-conservatism has as much to do with the GOP as Stalinist Russia had to do with Socialist principles. The name was hijacked, and has been involved in a spree of anti-American crime.

2. And no one replies
If we are not willing to examine our own warts and slap down corporate suckers like this, how do we expect people to believe we claim a higher ground?

You are correct. The problem is corporate feudalists regardless of what party they pretend to pledge allegiance to.
