No, I don't think FReepers are invading or Karl Rove has anything to do with it. I think it's worse than that. I think we're generally a bunch of brain-parasite-infested maniacs with affect disorders who can't function above the 30% percentile socially. The last couple of weeks it has seemed a little...unsettled. I'm hoping it's just a cycle of frustration which will work itself out. I was frustrated myself for awhile but some good people here helped me back to the main focus, which is not to fight each other but to stand against the GOP. There's some nuggets of wisdom to be found on DU, once you prune away some harsh rhetoric.

I see you've been here awhile, so something must have kept you coming back. Hopefully you'll see that again, or at least find some people who you respect and gravitate to their threads.

In any large community there are bound to be a few who feel a need to P in the pool. Heck, even small families have a few of those.

p.s. I had a CT scan, no parasites. :)
