US Losses - Photos Hidden By US News Media (Modem WARNING - Graphics ++)
From Abolkhaseb.net
1-15-5 (linked at Rense) and then found more at other sources such as www.albasrah.net where they've amassed quite a documentary of US War Crimes. Even have a great section on our Abu Ghraib legacy. Someone should show these to Simon Rosenberg since he still thinks the war was a good idea. Screw all the war supporters. May they rot in hell.

Totally in tears at this point. God I hate Bush. God I hate the neo-Cons. God I hate the Dems that voted for this war. God I hate those that still stand behind it.

FLOWERS AND ROSES HUH RUMMY?!!!!!!!!!

I DON"T SEE ANY STINKING FLOWERS!

War crimes. War crimes. The flower of our youth sacrificed to war crimes!

1. Um...Second Photo
Of the US troop crying is from the First Gulf War, and was on the cover of Newsweek in 1991.

I went from site to site and a few weren't dated. What did you think about the other photos?

7. First Gulf War?
Look's like Vietnam to me. Did they wear green in the Gulf war? Even looks like Iraeli soldiers.

10. it's the first gulf war
I remember this photo because back when I was in grade school my teacher assigned us a project in which we had to pick a random photo and write a poem on it, and I picked this photo. It was from Time magazine after the gulf war...on the cover was a photo of Schwarzkopf hugging a returning POW. Weird the things that stick in your mind...

17. Yes, it's from the first gulf war
They're wearing the old (MOPP) protective suits which were still that color at the time.

21. The second photo was taken by David Turnley of the Detroit Free Press
In 1991. He won the Pulitzer Prize for it.
John
Former journalist (kinda like saying "reformed prostitute"). It's still a powerful series of photos though, Tinoire.

4. Looking at those... Just horrible... I remember being a soldier
being out in the field feeling so cut off from civilization and miserable over basic losses like showers, warm beds, sleep... Even remember an 'excursion' where a good friend of mine ended up dying in my lap but nothing, nothing like this.

I can't even begin to imagine and meanwhile we go on about our daily lives while they're out there in that horror and cynical ones have the gall to come tell us that people like Simon Rosenberg are the answer.

Just can not believe this day and age. Even my mother, as cynical as she was about Vietnam & governments, can not believe what is going on. Can you? It is so... mind-boggling.

9. Half of America is in some kind of hypnotic fog. They see bush**
and think he speaks the Truth. The MSM perpetuates this lie 24\7

result you have young kids signing up to go half way round the World

to "protect" America "We can either fight them there or here"

The Draft IS Coming hopefully this will wake America up.

It's surreal to me.

"being out in the field feeling so cut off from civilization and miserable over basic losses like showers, warm beds, sleep... Even remember an 'excursion' where a good friend of mine ended up dying in my lap but nothing, nothing like this."

Well that sounds like Hell to me. Glad you made it Home. Sorry to here your friend didn't.

There's a lot I don't know but I know Violence especially unnecessary Violence is Evil.

12. It's going to get real ugly real fast when the draft starts.
With any justice, it will be a fair draft but I'm not holding my breath on any fairness. Fisk is great... I wish there were more like him too. Think I'll go see what he's written lately.

Peace

11. I am too scared to close my eyes
http://www.bushflash.com/year.html

Enveloped in a sentiment,
a sound that rushes over me.
Engage an impulse to pretend
I have a faith as pure.
Not forgetting what it means to dream.
Indulging everything.
Entertaining thoughts that I've the strength
of those I yearn to be.
Cheers and tribute greet the saviours.
Reckless thoughts survive.
Anachronistic and impulsive.

And what will happen?
Will I dream?
I am too scared to close my eyes.
For a second please hold me.
None can change in me these things that I believe.
But I don't know what happens now.
I am too scared to close my eyes.
