25. I dunno, there should be
The credit for the phrase goes to some unnamed highway blogger. A friend of mine who is part (and the heart) of our local highway blogger group wants to use for our local inauguration protest. I thought it was great and when I saw this subject come up it was the first thing that came to mind.

It does sound like a great bumpersticker though.

Here's to that unknown blogger

2. Like a good general protest song, or one specifically written
for the inauguration.

I don't know about songs specifically written for the inauguration, but I do have a suggestion if it is the first one. Gil Scott Heron's "Whitey on the Moon."

Whitey on the Moon

A rat done bit my sister Nell.
(with Whitey on the moon)
Her face and arms began to swell.
(and Whitey's on the moon)
I can't pay no doctor bill.
(but Whitey's on the moon)
Ten years from now I'll be payin' still.
(while Whitey's on the moon)
The man jus' upped my rent las' night.
('cause Whitey's on the moon)
No hot water, no toilets, no lights.
(but Whitey's on the moon)
I wonder why he's uppi' me?
('cause Whitey's on the moon?)
I wuz already payin' 'im fifty a week.
(with Whitey on the moon)
Taxes takin' my whole damn check,
Junkies makin' me a nervous wreck,
The price of food is goin' up,
An' as if all that shit wuzn't enough:
A rat done bit my sister Nell.
(with Whitey on the moon)
Her face an' arm began to swell.
(but Whitey's on the moon)
Was all that money I made las' year
(for Whitey on the moon?)
How come there ain't no money here?
(Hmm! Whitey's on the moon)
Y'know I jus' 'bout had my fill
(of Whitey on the moon)
I think I'll sen' these doctor bills,
Airmail special
(to Whitey on the moon)

I just got songs on the brain
But i'm not going to delate my post, even though it doesn't apply.

13. A little long for a sign, but...
"There is no flag large enough to hide the shame of killing innocent people." - Howard Zinn

I have the bumper sticker (got it on evolvefish.com) and it really gets right to the point for me.

Shorter ones:
I really like the "Mandate? My ASS" ones (you'd have to censor slightly I'm sure - something like "51% is no mandate" might work)

"Draft the Bush Twins first" is a little mean-spirited, but I carry the sign from time to time when I get in the mood.

19. Too good for the Monkey
Too good for him. If you ask me, he needs to be in his own underfunded prisons, hanging out with Bubba, whose little brother died in Iraq. Then, justice would be served.

20. I'd like to see him, Cheney, Rummy, Rice, etc.
forced into Abu Gharib poses for a worldwide television audience. Then I'd like to see the whole evil cabal left shackled and gagged on the streets of Fallujah - with no bodyguards.
