B**h actually thinks he is no longer accountable for his own decisions?
(from the Washington Post article)
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A12450-2005Jan15.html

"President Bush said the public's decision to reelect him was a ratification of his approach toward Iraq and that there was no reason to hold any administration officials accountable for mistakes or misjudgments in prewar planning or managing the violent aftermath. ...
"We had an accountability moment, and that's called the 2004 elections," Bush said in an interview with The Washington Post."

Hmmmm.... so, should I file this one under "stupidity," "naivete," "ignorance" or "arrogance," or should I just create a new file called "all of the above?"

Can someone please explain to Mr. B that AS LONG AS HE REMAINS COMMANDER IN CHIEF, he is DAMN WELL ACCOUNTABLE FOR HIS OWN DECISIONS AND ACTIONS. There is NOBODY ELSE WHO IS GOING TO ACCEPT ACCOUNTABILITY, so it automatically falls to him. There's something Reaganesque about this... remember all those "I can't remember" excuses?

5. This isn't Reaganesque
He's flat out telling the world that he can't be touched. You know I can't wait for the day (whether it will come or not) when his last photo op is taken with him standing next to his noose at the Hague.

14. I agree, our representitives need to be made aware that this
type of blame shifting and excuse making will not stand.

What he is trying to overttly do is shift responsibility away from himself and onto the public. He is trying to include tthe American citizens in his CRIMES.

WE DIDN"T APPROVE OF BEING LIED TO, FUCKFACE.

15. The problem is that
the Republicans are the only ones that have the power to take any action since they are in the majority. The Democrats didn't use any power they had to challenge Bush when they had it. It seems like the our black representatives, and a few others, are the only ones that have been trying to represent us for the past several years, but there aren't enough of them to succeed.

The media is corporate propaganda, the congress seems to have laid down, half the people in the country are too ignorant to vote or care, and another fourth are the Bush supporters who are acting like Nazis circa 1932.

We have been writing letters to our congresspeople, the media, protesting, worked for Kerry, but nobody is listening to us. It's like craziness has taken over everybody but one-fourth of the American people and we are marginalized.

25. No doubt yes
But he just started a new ball game. Its call blame the voters. So a nicely worded letter to Republican representatives on this can make their blood boil.

7. Just like when he said
"some people might call it regret" when they admitted they had said stupid things like "bring 'em on."

I think he is constitutionally incapable of admitting mistakes (see the twon-forum style debate) or taking responsibility for anything.

But, hey, Jesus is his favorite philosopher. So, instead of learning from Jesus that one should not condemn others, one should give alms to the poor, and one should "turn the other cheek" instead of marching into battle; he learned that he could do anything with impunity because god is on his side and god will forgive him.

I go for the category arrogance. I don't think he is nearly as stupid as he sounds.

Goddammitttttt...

A President can be impeached for a GD blowjob but killing 100,000 is OK because Bush "won" the election.

Just when I think that fucker has played his last "I'm the King" card, he pulls yet another out of his ass.

18. Time to say "Oh, no you don't, George!" to your senators & representatives
Edited on Sun Jan-16-05 09:28 AM by WritersBlock
I'm calling mine tomorrow, and I don't care that two are Republicans and one's a Democrat who was ever-so-conveniently off on a photo-op on the 6th of January.

This administration is trying to lay the blame for their lies, deceptions, and failures on us, in order to avoid their own accountability. If we don't speak up, we'll let them get away with setting a psychological precedent for the acceptance of this notion in the public conscience.

19. I know lots of Bush voters who hate the war. But they voted for him based
on abortion, or gun control, or the fact that the Bush campaign had managed to bring up Kerry's negatives so high that Bush looked like the better candidate.
