Harry Reid calls Bush's policies "Orwellian"

On ABC's "This Week" -- Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada said Bush's policies are "Orwellian". I'll post a transcript ASAP.

Recommend that everyone either re-read the book, "I984" (most probably haven't read it since high school) or, if they haven't, to read it.

Maybe it will get through some of the less thick skulls in this country!

Reid has no problem banning abortion.

Shumer should be Minority Leader.

He's in a blue state, is pro choice and a better advocate, I think.

3. I was pretty impressed with him

There is no crisis there is no Social Security crisis and there is no judicial crisis. He did back off calling Clarence Thomas an embarassment but the said that he didn't vote for him before and he won't if Clarence is nominated as Chief Justice.

Wow I just type something about Clarence Thomas being considered as the next Chief Justice........that's scary.

6. Those precious swing voters dont read Orwell. Be frank- call them "liars."

Then back it up with up with 4 or 5 examples w/ date & source. And do it on TV in primetime.

A great start, but if we are going to fight the GOP/media, we are going to have to be even more forceful & blunt.
