I looked at the pic properties. It's Graner the human pyramid guy.

6. After Mai Lai massacre, Lt. Calley was sentenced to life.
Edited on Sun Jan-16-05 12:33 PM by Idealist Hippie
He served 3-1/2 years.

He oversaw the murder of many women and children and was sentenced to life in prison. He was the only one sentenced if I remember correctly. He served 3-1/2 years before being quietly set free by maneuvers in high places.

How much time will a person actually serve who only piled people up in cheerleader pyramids? I mean, come on. {/sarcasm}

Can you say 'whitewash' ?
Edited on Sun Jan-16-05 12:24 PM by spanone
edit: On the news this morn they called him 'the ringleader'. I say bullshit. This was far too pervasive. This is what the pentagon hopes we will call him and then the problem goes away when he goes to jail. Whitewash.

5. whitewash and scapegoat
that fish is rotting at the head and Garner damn sure isn't the head 'ringleader'
Yea, granted he's a bad guy but this so called 'abuse' which I say is torture goes much higher than Garner. I for one am not fooled into thinking that the buck stops with Garner!

11. If one low-level guy can be the "ringleader"
Then our armed forces would really have to be out of control.

Take your choice. Higer ups either ignorant beyond belief, or knowing about and encouraging this behavior. Neither choice is good.

I'm pretty sure they were all encouraged in thier behavoir by our pathetic Bush administration. He's a bad guy but hes also a scapegoat for some other bad guys who are now gonna use him as a reason not to go after them.

continue to block legislation that would stop further such incidents, and insist that these soldiers were acting independently. Rumsfeld, Bush, and Cheney should be in the cell with him.
