Vote to REJECT Torture Gonzales -Tell Your Sen. & Members of the Judiciary
Gonzales
Tell Your Senator and Members of the Judiciary: Vote Your Values, Reject Gonzales
A reminder: keep the pressure on Senate Judiciary Cmte members by telling them to vote no on Alberto Gonzales.
Since LiberalOasis noted on Monday that key Dems remain publicly on the fence (and in turn, needed a big grassroots push), there’s been no change to that dynamic.
Values are not a mere buzzword to toss around.
They are “the foundation”. They are what you hold most dear. They “guide” your policies and actions every day.
So, if rejection of torture really is a value – a value that distinguishes Democrats from Republicans – it would dictate your vote on Gonzales.

2. You're joking right?
as if we vote FOR torture if we don't contact our senators or representatives?

Should I tell them when to wipe their asses after a dump as well? Some things go without saying.

4. To carry your theme, my reply is 'no shit'...or so you would think.

Despite the lofty notion of 'rejecting torture', our fine Senators on the Dem side are 'on the fence' as to whether to approve his appointment or not.

You tell me if they need to be told to 'wipe their asses'... I think they do.
