Here is the quote, "We had an accountability moment and that's called the 2004 elections. THe American people listened to different assessments made about what was taking place in Iraq and they looked at the two candidated and chose me."
Now, in the rest of the story he effectively says that the Administrations cannot be held accountable because they were reelected... this is scary that the press isn't making a big stink out of this in the first place.

1. His arrogance is unbelievable! |

And I would love it if the press took that as a challange. But, of course, they won't.

Here's what bothers me.... a majority of Americans did not vote for Bush. A majority of American VOTERS voted for him. As we should know, American voters tend to be those who can afford to miss a few minutes of work or school to go vote. American voters are typically those who have their own transportation to the polls. Thus, the true will of Americans is not always represented by its voters. But I digress....
A majority of American voters voted for Bush's version of Iraq because it was happier. It was an assessment that said "don't worry about a thing, this isn't affecting you, let's just keep it up. It's really not that bad." Kerry's assessment was the more accurate one: "This thing is all messed up, we need drastic changes."
Voters preferred the warm fuzzy lie to the cold hard truth. Bush has no right to say Americans agree with him. He misled American voters.

10. So, when Americans are traveling abroad, they should be more careful |
|
becuase the old "We don't hate Americans, we just hate their President" can now backfire. We're all targets now, even if you didn't vote for him.
