Prepare to be PISSED!!!!!!!!!!! (Bu$h at it again)
"Poll: Americans Hopeful on 2nd Bush Term"

Ahead of Bush's inauguration on Thursday, six in 10 people said they feel hopeful about his second term and 47 percent said they were worried. Most said they were neither angry nor excited about his final four years in office.

"Bush: U.S. Not Rushing to Leave Iraq"

President Bush says the U.S. military will pull out of Iraq "as quickly as possible," but he is not endorsing Secretary of State Colin Powell's statement that troops could begin returning home this year.

"Bush Says Voters Ratified Iraq Policy"

President Bush says there is no need to hold anyone in his administration accountable for what has happened in Iraq because the voters have already spoken.

"We had an accountability moment, and that's called the 2004 elections," Bush said in an interview with The Washington Post for Sunday's editions. "The American people listened to different assessments made about what was taking place in Iraq, and they looked at the two candidates, and chose me."

4. He is like a spoiled child, "an accountability moment," is so foolish and
arrogant, as if you are not accountable EVERY moment for what you do and its consequences.

I heard Ted Kennedy this morning and he said the comment was foolish. Why on earth can't so many Americans see through this dangerous buffoon?

5. I sort of agree with him
Whether the voters meant to or not, their vote was a ratification of the Administration's Iraq policy.Iraq was a major issue in the campaign, and I have been telling people for over a year that if the Baby Bush was elected this time he would interpret it as a mandate for his foreign policy and act accordingly. Someone who disapproves of his Iraq policy and voted for Bush has nobody to blame but him or herself.

I will be a lot more cold-hearted during these next four years--to a point that it will probably offend a lot of DUers too (it some cases it already has)--and I have no compunction about saying such awful things like "I told you so", "Chickens come home to roost" and "you got what you deserve" to people who either voted for Bush or were too lazy or "alienated" to vote.

15. Do note that the report that says there are no
WMDs didn't come out until AFTER the election...So the voters
didn't vote with full knowledge of the facts, ergo...still
accountable.

9. Pissed about what? It sounds like business as usual
It's not healthy to be pissed 100% of your time. All I see here is standard governmental fare and I refuse to allow it to destroy the mental stability I have retained.

19. Only a pissed opposition has the capacity to react.
A complacent one hasn't. But I understand why you're not pissed.

I REALLY do.

12. Meanwhile
A fairly large percentage of voters who voted shrub, did so because they would support any military action by any president. It is telling, that in a time of war, he got so few votes.

Lets look at what the American people know: The prison scandals were never fully investigated, the WMD idea never was truthfully explained, the generals who resisted never got coverage, and 911 was whitewashed. Had these issues been fully examined by the press, shrub would not have been close enough to have the few million stolen votes carry him over the top.

Just why did he wait till now to say he shouldn't have said what he said? Because it would have cost him the selection if said a few months ago.

In order that a puke be elected in four years, look for a pullout from Iraq just before then, because it will otherwise hang like a dead rock around the necks of the party.

17. They don't even say what the question is.
Someone who uses the word "hopeful" to describe the next 4 years may think Bush is awful, but be hopeful about muddling through.
