The Defense Policy Board (DPB) is a hand-picked group of 30 people that advises Bush administration officials on matters such as whether and when to go to war, or not. The current group was selected by Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, Douglas Feith, and approved by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Everyone who is anyone in the arms and defense industry knows that palling up to DPB members is the ticket to getting a Pentagon contract.

Shortly after the war in Iraq began, the April 10, 2003 New York Times pointed out that several board members stood to benefit financially from the war. It reported that the Center for Public Integrity (CPI) documented that 9 of the members were "linked to companies that have won more than $76 billion in defense contracts in 2001 and 2002."

1. Damn. This is too complicated for Christian right-wingers to understand.
Too bad.

2. The Bush family is really good at staying the course...
They profit off all the wars. Remember when Sammy Bush sold bullets to both sides in WW1.

3. I dunno...
... I think Christian right-wingers understand money. But, the word cronyism likely isn't in the Bible, so.... :)

6. If it weren't for the internets
we'd have no idea how much dirt is in Washington. We all had a pretty good idea, but it really goes beyond the pale.

7. When we're finally forced to leave Iraq
in the next few years, the Bush Crime Family and all their buddies will be laughing all the way to the bank. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis will be dead or physically impaired for life. The infrastructure will totally destroyed. It will take Iraq decades to overcome this, if it's even possible. Thousands of American soldiers will be dead or wounded. The military, especially the National Guard and Army Reserve, will be ruined. Our reputation around the globe will be that of a country run by mafia thugs.

What the Bush Crime Family has done is worse than any crime perpetrated by any criminal in American history.
