My Mom the activist
She was going into Joanns yesterday and saw this gold trimmed monster Lexus SUV pull into the handicapped spot and a teenage girl got out to go in the store. When my Mom came out, the Lexus was still there, ENGINE RUNNING. So my Mom knocks on the window, and the lady rolled it down. My Mom says, "Just because you're rich doesn't give you the right to be an ***hole! And what kind of lesson are you teaching your daughter, that the rules don't apply to her because she's rich? Or maybe you are handicapped--you need a sign that says 'handicapped with stupidity' in your window! People are dying in Iraq to get you the gas so you can idle your gas hog in the handicapped spot!" The woman rolls up her window and backs away, but my Mom is still screaming at her.

1. Go MOM!!!
I had a redneck try to make fun of my Nissan, you know, " 'cause it's a Jap car". I shut him up when I told him it was built by AMERICANS in TENNESSEE.

3. Wow.
Give your mom a hug next time you see her. If I stepped into a confrontation like that I know I would need one....
