"It's all about the power and access" for the inaugural royalty
CNN ran a puff piece this morning about the perks and pomposity surrounding the inauguration, as reflected in the price of presidential suites at Washington hotels, and the services that come with the suites.

Price: $150,000 for two nights.
Perks: 2 tickets to the ball, personal butler, unpacking and room prep, a bunch of fancy decorative meals, doggie grooming and a complimentary outfit for Fido, and my favorite: A bed turn down with fresh roses arranged in a "W".

The "W" would certainly make me lose interest in sex, which is probably the point.

And why do people pay this kind of money for this service? Because they can, peasants. They want you to know it and shine their boots and lick Fido's ass for him, because that duty is so unseemly for their pet, but is suitable for the working masses. And the $150,000 is cheap compared to the payback of patronage. It will be written off their taxes as a business expense.

1. *'s supporters will just think it's all cute.
It's sad. This coronation is just another example of the death of America.

And, within 4 years, I dare say the 23rd letter of our alphabet will be synonymous with a particular symbol that a particular Austrian embraced and promoted...

I am getting kinda tired of this flag. When the hell ends, it might be necessary to change it, because whenever I see our current U.S. flag it reminds of me and bush and death and chaos and evil.
