So I turn to the History Channel, expecting
some programming on MLK, and what do I find? A program on the liberation of Iraq with our illustrious Sock Puppet intoning on how the Iraqi people "will never have to fear Saddam Hossein again". Can't we have a day without *.

1. Why does every outlet want to convince us of Bush's so-called "greatness"?
Like the "liberation" of Iraq worked. It sure as hell did not. Everyone talks about how poorly planned it was. It is not genious. God!!!!

2. It's enough to make you sick, isn't it?
The History Channel of all stations should be about HISTORY, not propaganda.

Dammit.

4. All the formerly "independent" stations are owned by the network

guys now.. If ya can't beat 'em, EAT 'em..TLC, Discovery, A & E, History...you name the station.....they have all been "bought"... so now they are just convenient "dumping grounds" for old series, and "re-formatted" history...and sliced up "Dateline" shows :(

5. "The Horrors of Hussein"
Yet you'll never find the horrors of shock and awe and it's aftermath on any American documentary, unless it's F9-11.

7. I am so sick of their commercials for their French Revolution show
"For two hours, it won't kill you to love the French." ?? Apparently they think we're all freedom-fry eating Republicans. :puke:

8. As I informed my Republican friend last night,
I think that line is more of a play on words about all the beheadings than anything else.
