12. They're in Cincy, I'm north of Lafayette, IN...
I'm closer to Chicago than Cincy.
And I must admit, I do have "professional quality" equipment and a 100 foot end-fed wire.

11. Oh, great, Who's Idea was it
to put Air America on a radio station with the call letters of WCKY?

:wtf:That looks like an easy mark for the Right, because it looks an awful lot like WaCKY.

OH WACKY Democrats are at it again. That station needs a call letter change.

13. Cincinnati, OH: = Kentucky
I don't think it is a big deal, there are only so many letters combinations.

17. i have question. . .
I live in Atlanta, which is 'ate up" with talk radio - all right wing, of course. Now that we have Air America, what is the best way to let the local station we appreciate their carrying this type of programming? Contact them directly, contact Air America, or contact sponsors?

28. Calling your local station AND contacting the sponsors
are the best bets. Leaving out AirAmerica because they aren't very responsive to messages left on their site.

22. Or Chicago. I think our two cities got caught in some scam and AAR
only lasted for one month. It was replaced in Chicago by (I think it's) Chinese talk radio.

25. Any chance for Norfolk, Virginia, EVER?
What I probably need to find out is how you get progressive radio programming in Pat Robertson's neighborhood?

We lost Howard Stern several years ago because of *low ratings*...um, right...snork.

27. try the Atlanta station, 1390 AM
if you don't have any strong stations near it, it's possible that you can get it. I was amazed to get it North of Philadelphia.

26. AAR in DC
Yes, they have picked up AAR programming in DC, on 1260 am. I have it on now. But I'm disappointed b/c they are not following the exact AAR line up as you hear it online.

They actually have the guall to carry Don Imus in the morning. And they don't air Unfiltered at 9AM. They have someone else. They do carry Al Franken at 12 Noon. At 3:00, they carry Ed Shultz. They don't pick up Randi's show until 6PM, so I'm trying to see if they are just airing 1 hour of Randi's show, or will they do the full show.

So, it's better than no AAR in DC, but I wish they would follow the exact line up.
