Who here works full time in politics?

Who here works full time in politics?
I know a lot of people get involved in campaigns and advocacy groups as volunteers or part-time jobs, but does anyone here do it full time?

If so, what's that like? I assume it would be a tough life: not a lot of pay, tedious work and long hours during campaigns, etc.

Most who are in politics don't advertise it here. They prefer to remain anonymous.
