| CBS Evening News....I had to laugh |

right before I cried. Did a story on the upcoming election in Iraq...seems 80% of the people don't even know what they're supposed to vote on....most think they're voting to elect a president. The voting places are a secret and will be told to the people a few hours before voting begins. A really stupid interview with * in which his "heh, heh, hehs" made me want to laugh again...however, he didn't sound so confident on getting his way on SS as he has sounded in the past.

the entire US ought to also. And do like Australia and have mandatory voting too ! Bush wouldn't have been elected if 40% of the people hadn't sat this one out.
Iraqis would be safer this way too !
