This is how the FCC is trying to deflect some of the heat from Armstrong Williams, by going after a guy who donated $1.8 million to defeat Bush:

The article appears to be true on that, despite some funky phrasing of it ("reports say"). His donations are to the democrats this cycle, but if you go back to the 1990's, definitely republican. Always glad to see the republicans not buying into the Bushlies.
