Just heard promo on CNN re Rice confirmation hearing:

I turned on the TV just now, and caught a voice-over, pre-recorded teaser for CNN's programming. This is what I heard:

"- Condoleesa Rice's confirmation hearing, as she withstands tough questions from Democrats -"

"Withstands"? Editorialize much?

How about "faces," or hey - "answers."

That she is not withstanding them - at least those posed by Boxer - is beside the point. That CNN would choose such a loaded word to promote the hearing is - well, I would say shocking, if the craven US media still had the power to shock me.

2. We just heard that on world cnn

amazing. We were following the hearing...and the sound went during the entire segment of John Kerry..and then returned just as he finished. When a democrat questions, cnn goes to analysis...and cuts from the answers, but when a repub questions, they stay with it for the answers.

CNN is as monolithic odious and corrupted (though in a uniquely Amerikan way) as Soviet Pravda from the Brezhnev area.

Simply put, your opinion nor even if it was shared by everyone BESIDES the Imperial Party Membership would count for NOTHING.

Don't try and get the Ear of the State-Controlled Media. They may not report or denounce you for being an Enemy of the State, but I wouldn't be surprised if you made a list for "future reference".
