Remember the story about the starving dogs in Iraq, the |
|
ones working for the military? I sent a check to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society as a donation to send food to these dogs and was shocked today to receive a very nice form letter AND MY CHECK because they said they were overwhelmed with donations and found a better way via Hills Pet Food co offering to provide food for the dogs and DHL offering to fly the food to Iraq. The president of this L.A. Humane Society has renewed my faith in humanity. She could have easily cashed my check and I would have never known the difference. Now, I'm going to send another check to them as a donation to whatever cause they wish. Big-time kudos to this lady and her organization.

1. Every animal rescue organization I have worked with |
|
is so very honest it almost hurts. I guess working with abandoned and abused animals tends to do that to a person.
Yay, for the lady. And Yay for you and your check.
