Military Mascots/pet page
Edited on Tue Jan-18-05 10:57 PM by OurVotesCount-Ohio
After reading the thread about the puppy being killed, I looked around the page provided and found other links. I happened upon the Military Mascot page and thought it deserved a thread of its own. People can donate to help the soldiers get their mascots home.

I can't post any pics here, they are copyrighted.

Get ready to cry.

1. Did anyone figure out the official policy?
I was irate when I heard that the poor pup was killed, especially right before he was due to head to the U.S. If they are letting the soldiers bring the pups home, I'd definitely donate.

2. I looked around the mascot page
and it appears that they(Military?) do euthanize the animals if they find them. Some have made it home through donations. They have a reunion page on that web site also.

4. any way to get this info to a large rescue group/circle?
I will forward and donate myself, perhaps a something good can come of all this? If I had the space and a nicer dog-child, I would volunteer to foster them if necessary!

thanks for posting.
