My response to Kerry's request for Rumsfeld resignation sigs
What can I say? I just couldn't help it. I went to his website, clicked on his contact form and emailed the following:
Dear Senator Kerry,

I have received your email in which you request signatures for your letter to Bush demanding Rumsfeld's resignation. With all due respect to you, I must tell you that I cannot and will not sign anything addressed to Bush that begins with "Mr. President." You know as well as any of us that he is a fraud.

As a Senator you must respect the forms and so address him as “Mr. President.” I, however, am merely a voting Democrat, and I am pissed off at what this country and the Office of the Presidency have become. I don't have to respect the forms when I don't feel they warrant respect. In short, I get to say whatever I damn well please (at least for the moment), and it pleases me to say that I think Bu$h is a dumb, arrogant, redneck fascist who has no more business in The White House than the chimpanzee he emulates. He, Rumsfeld, Cheney and the rest of their ilk can all go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned. God that felt good!

5. really
this may sound harsh, but the first term might have been a mistake, but not the second term, the people and the soldiers knew what they were voting for

Not only that, they won congress

sorry, but good bad or indifferent people will see the consequences of their actions

9. I see your point of course,

but I really think demanding or even requesting of Dubya that he fire Rumsfeld has about as much chance of success as there would have been in hoping that Senator Boxer's courageous stand on January 6 (which I supported with my signature) would have resulted in the little weasel having to vacate The White House. I'm more than willing to be proven wrong, but it just seems to me like pissing in the wind. Maybe I've just become too jaundiced, but I really don't see myself as indifferent. Sometimes it just seems like sucking up though, and I just won't do it. It's not in me. I'm not condemning or judging others. It's just the way I feel right now on this particular evening. Lest I forget, thanks for your feedback. - just - ;-)

6. He was repeatedly demanding Rumsfeld's resignation.
Specifically after the prison abuse incident. Too bad you weren't paying attention.
