If beating his son and his snotty book weren't bad enough, Survivor winner
Richard Hatch got arrested for big-time tax evasion.

The penalty could be up to five years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine for each charge. However, as part of the plea agreement filed Tuesday in federal court, the U.S. attorney's office said it would recommend a lesser sentence.

As part of the plea agreement, Hatch said he would pay the taxes he owes, which the government said are between $200,000 and $400,000. The agreement does not shield him from any penalties the Internal Revenue Service might impose.

Just sad.

4. In all fairness
The charges regarding his son were dropped. It seems that the boy (who is adopted and has a troubled history) made the story up and the police were overzelous.

Sure his attitude sucks but the fact that he is a gay man with an adopted kid also places him in the sites of some nut jobs. I am going to see if this whole things pans out or fizzles out.
