Has anyone asked this question? |
|
I heard the British (Tony Blair) are sending 1200 more troops to Iraq. (I thought we didn't need anymore troops)
My question is has anyone heard how much money the British are sending to the reconstruction of Iraq? Are we reimbursing them for the cost of sending their troops, in dollars or perks?

If this is such a multinational effort as Shrubhead insists, then how much are the other multi nations going to fork over to Halliburton and the Pentagon's money pits?

2. We need other nation's troops |
|
Bush & Co. say they do not need any more of our troops (U.S.) over there. They seem more then willing to have other nations troops added to the count, provided those nations do not want any say in what happens in Iraq. For some reason they think the world in general will want to run into the quicksand in which we now find ourselves.
I have not seen any British figures, but I don't think they are paying much (less then a billion dollars).
By the way, I would also ask what happened to the plan of Iraqi oil money paying to rebuild the country?
