Okay, So Bush Tells the Troops that Much More Will Be Asked Of Them
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=584&e=1...

Among the 7,000 people in the audience were troops wounded in combat, 75 family members of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan and as many as 80 winners of the Congressional Medal of Honor, the highest military award. The event was beamed to troop gatherings in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Bush told the troops that "much more will be asked of you in the months and years ahead."

"Not only are we going to Iraq... we're going to Iran and Syria and Egypt and North Korea and Libya, and we're going to France and Germany and Russia! And we're going to China and Sudan and Pakistan and Indonesia. And then we're going to every other country in the world till there's nothing left! Yeeeeeaaaaaargh!"

3. I have a feeling many of those troops are losing the will to give
and will be telling Bush, and their own superiors, in higher and higher numbers, to go pound sand

4. There's Only So Much They Can Even Do
For instance, they cannot be simultaneously in Syria, Iran, and Iraq. Unless we make MORE of them (glances at graduating high school class of 2005).

Sigh.

7. Seems Like an Imperfect Solution
But I'd rather have a hole in my foot than to have no foot at all... or much worse.
