Question: Wasn't the assisination plot against Bush (41) not for real?
A freeper and I are in a debate about Iraq...and he says that since Saddam tried to kill Bush (41), and that it was an act of war...but I thought I read that this wasn't even true...

can you help?

1. Guess that one's in semi-limbo.
I think it's currently along the lines of "Probably, but stil possibly not". But never any evidence linking directly to Saddam. The New Yorker has some coverage:

Now that we have the country, I would think we could refine these probabilities, no?
