"How dare you be critical of our annointed war leader, Mr. Dean?"
Well, let's just see what Joe Klein has to say about YOU, shall we?"

I wanted to slap that made-up meat puppet on MSNBC! Dean handled her nicely, though. God, I hate those media whores!

1. He has learned the art of
not taking the bait. You know, it's hard for folks with a medical background because we are always answering questions straight on...
Dean has been able to keep on focus....

Great job don't ya think.....:bounce:

3. Dean did great this morning.
Every interviewer (I saw three) tried to bait Dean. He stayed focused and on message. I like how he kept referring to it as "Bush*'s War". NBC had good coverage. Even Tim Russert was lucid and appealing. Diane Sawyer was bad. Did she sleep with Poppy too? (PS - What's up with her lips?)

6. He did wonderfully!
Man, if Dean and Clark are on the ticket together, Turd Blossom is going to end up as a gofer-trusty-cell-bitch in Danbury sometime in 2005!

I don't remember which network but one of them tried to ambush Dean with the Klein article...he countered it fairly well by suggesting that if the media isn't sure of his positions, they should listen to his speeches.

Honestly, I expect before the campaign is over, they'll be asking Dean some crap that Coulter writes.

7. yeah, no kidding
I'm waiting to hear "Governor Dean, how many times a week do you beat your wife? None? Well, when did you stop beating your wife then?"

:eyes:

Why the media challenges Dems on sight but put their trust and faith in Dubya is beyond me.

10. While They Are More Punditry Than News...
may I recommend Nightline and The Capitol Gang(CNN). Koppel has been roasting Shrubco for a some time now and Mark Shields and Al Hunt absolutely wipe up the floor with the right and Margaret Carlson on a weekly basis.

12. Oh, Dean did GREAT with that response
totally un Gored himself: He smiled and said, well the media is having a bit of fun at my expense (he's been following Somerby's Daily Howler pieces on the media clowns) which is natural and he doesn't mind, after all he put himself out there and should be able to take a little heat, HOWEVER, Klein was wring on his facts and Dean did not in fact change his position as claimed.

This was something Gore and crew never did--they should have responded with good natured humor but CORRECTED the spin with TRUTH!

Instead they sorta went, oh, no big deal, who listens to the media clowns, we'll just ignore them, and the LIES ballooned into proverbial soundbites that got repeated endlessly.

It was GREAT to see Dean laying some truth on Jansing, who wiggled and struggled like a 3 year old being forced to swallow some bad medicine. What a bitch. Dean looked powerfuil indeed in that moment.
