Well, I got my first deleted post and I'm wondering..
Is is possible to appeal the removal?

Can I get the text of my message back?

I would also like to say that I'm a bit disappointed and considering the sting I felt at the removal (I don't think the message was so horrible) I will never use the alert button again. (I used it once, out of curiosity mostly).

I think that removal of messages, especially without warning or opportunity to edit are a little bit heavy-handed almost illiberal...

Cheers.

6. A couple of ways.
You can go back and check the threads you post in or you can click on "my posts".

10. It happens pretty rarely actually
It does sting when it happens and I know it feels unjust.

As someone who has had one or two removed, I'd advise you to just roll with it. It happens to more people than you think.

It would be REALLY hard for the mods to contact everyone and ask them to edit posts.
