Sounds like we have something else in common -- I'm a natural redhead, too. I'm 55 and have been lucky so far that I haven't had to color it at all. I did notice a few grey hairs I hadn't seen before the other day, though. It's been so nice not to have to do it. I've been pretty lucky.

...I believe that DU is the early prototype of a new kind of political community activism that may yet rescue democracy. There was a thread here this afternoon that seemed to be sort of crystallizing the discovery by many DUers that almost all of them had stopped using MSM for information sources:

Getting news and information from the net is less new and possible at more web sites than being able to discuss and organize the way you can on DU. I believe -- and also hope -- that DU-style community activism is now on a steep rise. We all know the fight is just starting. I really, really hope that the 20th does not mark the end of the recent higher activity levels at DU.

We'll see. I also hope they have some way to decentralize or otherwise protect the site from malicious hacking. There may be some b* people who realize what DU represents -- I think it's why there have been the attacks on DU credibility in the MSM recently.
