You know how Bush does beef industry's bidding -- well, NPR...
...is doing a story on the poultry business, and they're trying to make it sound a little gross. They're talking about "disease outbreaks" and overcrowded hen houses.

They're also talking about tariffs getting in the way of free trade.

The story opened with the comment that Americans eat more chicken than beef, and that beef reached its peek in the 70s or 80s. Well, it sounded like they were trying to help beef get back on top. (By the way, beef production is the most petroleum dependant agricultural industry there is).

They want to privatize and screw everything up. Particularly, our most basic necessities.

2. well actually it is worth a look
REad Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser. You will see about the chicken industry. It's horrifying.
